Movie Review:

Outlander" begins when a space craft crashes into the majestic fjords of ancient Norway and into the time of the Vikings. From the wreckage emerge two bitter enemies: a soldier from another world – Kainan (James Caviezel) – and a bloodthirsty creature known as the Moorwen. Man and monster both seeking revenge for violence committed against them. As the Moorwen ravages the Viking world, killing everything in its path, Kainan forms an unlikely alliance with the primitive but fierce warriors.

Combining his advanced technology with ancient Iron Age weapons, the hero leads a desperate attempt to kill the monster - before it destroys them all.
During the reign of the Vikings, Kainan, a man from a faraway world, crash lands on Earth, bringing along with him an alien predator known as the Moorwen. Though both man and monster are both seeking revenge for the violent wrongs committed against them, Kainan leads the alliance to kill the Moorwen by fusing his advanced technology with the Viking's Iron Age weaponry.................

Movie Review:
Villu’s story is reminiscent of the prehistoric Tamil cinema formulas – son taking revenge over his father’s killers to satiate his mother’s wishes. And of course, there is time for love, double crossing, comedy and some sentiments in the midst.

Nayan’s presence serves the purpose of eye candy – she wears micro minis (she even asks you so in one of the songs), bras disguised as tops, dangerously low-waist skirts and spaghetti tops. Whatever happened to that naïve and talented girl of Ayya and Manasinakkara? Although Vadivelu’s unimaginative comedy track (yes, the track has absolutely no connection whatsoever with the movie’s main plot) is boisterous and loud, it serves as a saving grace for the movie in many instances…………..

Movie Review:
Producer Abhirami Ramanathan deserves applause for rendering a movie for kids which is a laugh-a-thon right from word go. Directed by Raju Eshwaran, who was part of Rajinikanth's 'Bloodstone' team, 'Panchamirtham' is a movie that is a unique mix of comedy and magic sure to evoke applause from children.

The director has proved that one can make engrossing movies without any gory stunt sequences, double meaning comedy and needless emotions. Blending mythology with a contemporary theme is a tight rope walk act. Raju Eshwaran has managed to weave magic by bringing the two together.........

Bommalattam Movie Story Review
After watching Bommalattam, Bharathiraja's bilingual venture, one cannot help being overawed by the excellence of Nana Patekar – easily one of the best actors India has ever produced. Designed as a film within a film the movie explores the quintessential life of a talented film director viewed as an eccentric from time to time.
Bharathiraja is a name known for bringing rural India to life with scripts that are highly metaphorical in nature. The director who had also rendered an exquisite film noir in 'Sigappu Rojakkal' decades ago is back with a film that treads along the lines of murder under vicious circumstances.
The fallacies of a world that fails to recognize creative angst has been captured on celluloid rather effectively. Arjun plays a CBI officer (Vivek) thirsting after the truth while Rukmini Vijayakumar plays the heroine of the film that is shot by Rana (Nana Patekar).
Why does the director have such an affinity for his heroine? How can a man who loses his temper at the drop of a hat be calm and even sweet to some people? Who is responsible for the murders? These are the questions that are answered as the film unfolds.
Comic relief is provided by Vivek and Manivannan. Although funny at times their interludes derail the intensity of the story big time. Compared to the brilliance of Nana Patekar, every other actor appears ordinary except Rukmini Vijayakumar who has done justice to her role.
Cinematography is brilliant and the background score is passable. None of the songs impress. Though nowhere in the vicinity of Sigappu Rojakkal's brilliance, Bommalattam does succeed in arresting audiences' attentions during a major twist in the story which in actuality is the very crux of the film.
Nana Patekar's brilliance has been watered down considerably with an inappropriate voice (Nizhalgal Ravi). The Bommalattam think-tank could have had second thoughts on this and probably introduced a voice that goes with the intensity of the lead character............

Yuvan Shankar Raja has done the honors as far as music is concerned, tuning 5 songs for the movie. Coming soon after Aegan, Yuvan fans are eagerly waiting to see what he has served up this time. Movie Review:

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is the story of an 'odd' couple played by Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma who find true love in the backdrop of a dance competition called "Dancing Jodi".

Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh Khan), a man working for Punjab Power, who falls in love with Taani (Anushka Sharma) the flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious girl for whom the whole world is her canvas and she paints her own life with the colours of rainbow all until unforeseen circumstances changes it all and brings them together. They get married and lead a not-so happy life due to huge age difference between Surinder and Taani. Taani, meanwhile, wants to participate in a reality dance show called "Dancing Jodi," which is the main backdrop of the movie.

The dance contest showcases couples of all races, colours, backgrounds and sexual preferences. Taani wants to take part for the show, but she is not able to due to her husband's lack of fashion statement. Later on when Surinder finds out about his wife's wish to participate in the reality dance show, he undergoes a major change. Taani keeps falling in love with her changed husband...........
